Restored Radios

This is a gallery of radios that I restored. All of them have had the electronics repaired and aligned for good reception. Many have had the cabinet refinished when the original finish could not be saved. In the beginning, I used a shellac finish but more recently I moved to a spray lacquer as was used originally by the manufacturer of most radios in the 1930s and 1940s. Many of these radios have a great story as a family heirloom, a prized possession of a parent of the owner or, in some cases, a radio the owner bought long ago. I have gifted some of these to family members and in one case (the Crosley 03CB) to the Cincinnati Historical Society.
